Las Vegas, Nevada -- On October 21, 2019, at approximately 12:11 p.m., the City of Henderson Police Department responded to 10701 S. Eastern Avenue in reference to a 9-1-1 disconnect. A struggle ensued resulting in the use of deadly force. The juvenile was transported to UMC Trauma Center where he underwent emergency surgery and is expected to recover. The adult female was transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition, where it was later learned she succumbed to her injuries. The adult female was later confirmed to be the mother of the juvenile. No officers were injured during this incident.
